Pigment painting on flattened strip of eucalyptus bark, depicting school of black fish of various sizes swimming from all directions toward a circular black area in center of painting; The fish are on a background of alternating white and rust brown swirls that probably represent water; Unpainted band along all four edges of bark strip frames the painting; Top and bottom of panel are sandwiched between two halves of peeled and split wooden rods whose ends are tied together with narrow strips of bark. |
