Description Burntwater Navajo-style rug, woven in tapestry weave; Central design consists of multiple, concentric terraced diamonds in colors of very pale green, rose, dark brown, beige, and gold on a gold background and framed by a multiple borders in pale green, deep gold, white, and dark brown; Gold-colored spirit line is located in upper right corner; Twining and selvage cords are done with a contrasting gold yarn; Rug is woven extremely finely, using weft yarns that were dyed with vegetal dyes by Navajo weavers; A total of 9 colors appear in this rug.
