Description Burntwater Navajo-style rug, woven entirely in tapestry weave; Central design consists of a pair of conjoined concentric, terraced diamonds in colors of rust brown, white, light gray, dark and medium brown, and blue, all on rust brown background; Remainder of design field is filled with terraced and straight-edged triangles in same colors; Rust brown spirit line is located in upper right corner; Rug is framed by wide border of chain of positive and negative black diamonds on pinkish-brown background; Twining and selvage cords are woven with contrasting gray-green wool yarns.
