Description Burntwater Navajo-style rug, woven entirely in tapestry weave; Central design is a single series of concentric terraced diamonds in colors of white, gold, rust brown, medium and dark gray, pale yellow, and pale green, all on a rust brown background; Design field is enclosed within a narrow double terraced zigzag line in dark gray and white; Entire rug is framed on all four sides by plain gold border, with a narrow plainweave band in light and dark gray and another band woven in wavy Crystal-style weave in pale yellow and dark gray along each end; Twining and selvage cords are woven in contrasting pale green yarns.
