Description Four-in-one Navajo-style rug, woven entirely in tapestry weave; Four rugs styles depicted include 1) Two Grey Hills (upper left corner) with central design of composite terraced diamonds in light and medium gray, white, and black on dark gray background; 2) Ganado Red (upper right corner) with central design of two concentric terraced diamonds in white, black, red, and light gray on deep red background; 3) Storm Pattern with central rectangle in black, white and gray with zigzag lines radiating out to smaller rectangles in corners, all on deep red background; and 4) Burntwater, with central design of paired terraced diamonds in pin, pale green, pale yellow, rust brown, and gray on gold background, all framed by white, gray, and medium brown borders; All four rug patterns share a black background; Twining and selvage cords are woven of black wool yarns.
