Description Ganado Red Navajo-style rug, woven entirely in tapestry weave; Central design consists of two large gray terraced diamonds, outlined in white, all on a deep red background; Inner gray border has serrated edge along interior and is straight-edged along outside; Primary border is filled with band of paired and opposing terraced black triangles with white tips, all framed along outermost edges by straight-edged black border; Red spirit line is located in upper right corner; Twining and selvage cords are woven in matching black wool yarns; This rug design is a nearly identical copy of one by Evelyn Curley which was nearing completion the first time Margaret and Tony Shuffrey visited at Hubbell Trading Post in Ganado, AZ.
