Description Very finely woven Two Grey Hills Navajo-style rug, woven in tapestry weave, with central design of double series of concentric, terraced diamonds, in colors of light gray, black, and white; Within each series of concentric diamonds are four smaller diamonds in medium brown and medium gray; Central designs are framed on either side by geometric units in colors of white, medium brown, tan, and black, all on a medium gray background; Medium gray “spirit line” is located in upper right corner; Rug is bordered along all edges by triple border; Innermost border is medium brown colored and is terraced along sides but straight edged along both ends; Center white border and outermost black border are straight-edged along all sides; Twining and selvage cords are woven in contrasting cream-colored yarns; NOTE: This is the same design as that of CAS 2007-0001-0026 and clearly shows the relationship between Two Grey Hills and Burntwater style Navajo rugs.
