Description Finely woven Two Grey Hills Navajo-style rug, woven in tapestry weave, with a complex design including two series of concentric terraced diamonds in colors of white, and light, medium, and dark brown, all on a medium gray background; Central designs are flanked on either side by geometric units in light and medium brown and edged along inside by band of very small white terraced triangles; White “spirit line” is located in upper right corner; Rug is framed along all four edges by four borders of varying widths; Two very narrow straight-edged borders in dark and medium brown are innermost, followed by a wider white border that carries a band of small paired terraced triangles in medium brown; Outermost border is plain dark brown; Twining and selvage cords are woven in contrasting light brown yarns.
