| Description | Pair of handheld wooden paddles, each carved from a flat piece of wood, forming an elongated handle and a wide flat, paddle board; The larger of the two (A) has a blue handle and is painted with a stylized orange and green floral motif on one face and a group of seated people in a classroom-like arrangement on the opposite face; Possible artist’s signature is written in black ink on face with floral design; The smaller paddle (B) is also painted with three rows of people, also in an apparent classroom-like arrangement on one face, and a stylized table (?) on the opposite face; Possible artist’s signature is written in black ink on piece of paper glued to paddle’s unpainted handle. | |
