Description Ganado Red-style rug, tightly woven in plain tapestry weave with handspun wool warp and handspun natural, carded, and aniline-dyed wool wefts; Overall design is of a series of diamond shapes of graduated sizes, different colors (light gray, white, tan, medium gray, red, and black), and slightly different designs, all nested within each other to form a single central motif on a light gray background with triangular fillers in each corner; Entire rug has a double border in black and white, with stepped triangles along the sides and straight edges along both ends.
