Description Ganado Red style of rug, tightly woven in plain tapestry weave with handspun natural wool warps and handspun natural, carded, and aniline-dyed wool wefts; Design consists of a single large gray diamond in center (containing smaller red and white diamonds within it) and outlined in black, all on a deep red background; Smaller terraced composite triangle in black and white is located near each end and intertwined zigzag lines black, gray, and white are located along each side; Entire rug has triple border in black and white, with terraced interior edges along the sides and straight edges along each end.
