Description | Pair of earrings for pierced ears; Each earring is comprised of a piece of oyster shell that has been cut into a trapezoidal shape and then completely inlaid on the front with rectangular pieces of turquoise of various sizes, arranged in triangular patterns; Also included in the design for added color is one piece of black jet, one piece of red Spondylus shell, and one piece of black and white shell; Short length of silver wire is threaded through small hole at top of each earring and bent to attach to sterling silver post; Artist’s initials “JAR†are scratched onto reverse of each earring. | |
