Description | Handheld round fan made with two pieces of round tapa cloth with a short wooden handle sandwiched between them and protruding from one end and a border of shredded pandanus(?) fiber former a short fringe also sandwiched between the tapa cloths around the perimeter; The two pieces of tapa cloth are machine-sewn together around their perimeter and the lower edge of the handle is secured with a short piece of plant fiber that is threaded through a hole in the tapa cloths and the handle, wrapped around the outside of the handle and knotted. | |
