Description | Miniature round shallow bowl with flat base and widely flaring sides; Interior and exterior are scraped smooth and covered with a white slip; Motif of a double-headed parrot is painted in orange and black on interior of bowl; Artist’s signature “LENO ACOMA NM” is printed in black on underside. Juana Leno is the mother of Rose Leno Chavez and Joyce Leno Barreras, both of whose work is also represented in the CAS collections. | |
