Description | Rectangular Storm Pattern style rug woven entirely in plain, weft-faced tapestry technique with joins; Design consists of a series of concentric rectangular motifs in center in carded brown, black, and white with white zigzag lines radiating out from each corner to smaller but similar concentric rectangular units in similar colors in each corner of the rug, all woven on a gold-colored background; Narrow white inner border and wider black outer border frame rug along all four edges; Borders are straight-edged along both ends of rug and form a reciprocating feather pattern along the sides; Selvage and end cords are white. | |
