Rectangular Teec Nos Pos style rug, woven entirely in plain weft-faced tapestry technique with non-interlocking joins; Design consists of a disparate black diamond in the center, within a larger white terraced diamond, all on a dark gray background; Small black terraced diamond outlined in red and enclosing a gold-colored 4-point star is located in each corner of the rug; Double border frames rug on all four edges; Inner narrow border is gold-colored and straight edged, but also has pendant gold-colored flags along its outer edge which overlap the wider outermost black border; A very narrow white band has been woven along each end of the rug; Rug does not have selvage cords; End cords are white. |
