| Description |
Rectangular non-regional style rug woven entirely in plain weft-faced tapestry technique with non-interlocking joins; Borderless, banded design consists of band of one whole and two half serrated diamonds in light gray extending across the center of the rug on a red background; Above and below the central band are alternating red and light gray zigzag bands with serrated edges; Narrow black band is woven near each end of rug, just before final band that is slightly darker red than remainder of rug; Selvage cords and end cords are bright red. |
