Handheld fan woven from a single coconut frond; Fan is diamond shaped with a truncated distal end, and is woven predominately in a 2/2 herringbone pattern; Warp and weft fibers are turned back on themselves at edges to form a self-forming selvage; Warp and weft fibers are still attached to frond’s spine, whose ends form a short handle. |
