Description | Narrow oblong basket with bottom panel design; Basket is woven of narrow cedar split warps and cedar split wefts that alternate between wide and narrow; Interior base constructed of very wide cedar splits; Exterior of base has been woven separately and attached; Exterior base panel constructed of bear grass with designs of undyed redbud oval with bear grass insertions; Faded green dyed fiber design evident inside redbud design as well as framing the oval. | |
