Description | Canoe bailer carved from a single piece of wood; Overall form is that of a boat-shaped bowl with one end rounded off and the other tapering to a rounded point; The deep sides flare outward from the base which is carved with a pronounced ridge similar to the keel of a boat; An elongated cylindrical handle extends inward from the wide, flat rim on the proximal end of the bailer, allowing the user to scoop water into the bailer; All surfaces have been sanded smooth; Bailer is completely undecorated; Used for bailing water from interior of a canoe. | |
