Description Marionette of a man constructed of wood, in sections, with joints at the neck, waist, shoulders, elbows, hips and knees; Facial features are painted in red and black; He wears a red headpiece carved with a garuda face with bared teeth and embellished with gold and green paint; Outfit includes long-sleeved blouse and shoes constructed of light green velvet fabric; Outer pants are a thin, light yellow fabric, embellished with multi-colored sequins; Legs are covered in brown fabric under middle layer of wide-legged pants in faded pink and gold with mismatched commercial embroidered fabric; Stiff gold chest covering is cut to resemble leaves and embellished with gold, red, silver and green sequins; Lower body has a similar covering embellished with sequins, and glass jewels; Right hands is curled into a fist, left hand has fingers extended straight; Fingernails are painted red and fingers are outlined in red; Strings are attached to both sides of headdress, back of neck, upper back, elbows, wrists, hips, thighs and feet, connected with a wooden “H” shaped hand controller.
