Description Angak’china Mana or Long-Haired Mana (woman) Katsina, who appears with Long-Haired Katsina and sometimes will act as a drummer; Carved in cylindrical form without arms or legs; Long carved hair, which is worn loosely down the back, resembles the falling rain; White mask with black rectangles for eyes; A portion of hair extends down from lower face, with white painted feather decorations; Carved horizontal black and white feather sits atop head, protruding slightly over face; A second turquoise mask is located just below shoulder height, with four carved feathers extending below; Cape painted red at the shoulders is that of a female, with the back primarily unpainted brown with bands of white, black and red at the bottom; A vertical rainbow pattern with small white dots throughout is painted on the front of the body with a curved, horizontal rainbow image across the center and a multicolored sun in the upper right corner; Single-story pueblo with white steps in bas relief on bottom of front; Traditionally, the rainbow represents peace and harmony amongst tribes; Signed “Nadine Naha Hopi Long Hair Mana” on bottom.
