Description Ganado Red rug, woven in plain tapestry weave; Large central design consists of a single series of concentric, terraced diamonds in red, black, light grey, and white all on deep red background; Large light grey terraced triangles outlined in black fill corners of dark red design field; Design elements are framed by a white border, which is thin and straight edged on the sides and displays pendant terraced triangles on the top and bottom; Entire rug is framed by straight edged black border; Twining and selvage cords are woven in contrasting grey wool yarns.
