Description | Chinle style rug in plain tapestry weave; Border-less, banded design consists of wide design bands and narrow plain bands in multiple hues of brown and gold; Design bands display two primary motifs; One consists of small kiva step designs in gold and dark grey; The other consists of small opposing pendant triangles in white from the top and bottom of a thin white band; These design bands are interspersed with the solid bands of gold, brown, and white in various widths; End cords are dark brown and selvage cords are light brown, which have been knotted at the corners to form short tassels. | |
