Description Rug woven in plain tapestry weave; Banded design consists of four horizontal design bands, each of them showing a central terraced diamond, flanked on either side by two terraced half-diamonds, all in natural white; In the two most central design bands, the complete diamond shape also includes a smaller terraced diamond in black in the center; The background of each design panel is either gold or dark brown; The four design bands are interspersed with a series of alternating solid bands of various widths in colors of brown, gold, black, and natural white; A plain straight edged black band is located along each end of the rug; Selvage and end cords are white, and knotted together at the corners to form short tassels.
