Description Rectangular Chinle style rug; Border-less, banded design; Pattern consists of four segments of narrow, solid bands, alternating with three wide central design bands; Design bands consist of a single row of concentric serrated diamonds (white and rust brown), on a gold background and flanked by zigzag serrated lines in white on a dark brown background, with this motif (“Chinle star”) repeated five times across the design band; In between the three design panels are solid plain bands of various widths, in alternating colors of spruce green, white, gold, brown, and black; Selvage and end cords are gold and knotted in all four corners to form short tassels.
