Description Didgeridoo made from termite-hollowed eucalyptus bough; Proximal or mouth end of instrument is coated with band of black spinifex gum, distal end is stained with ochre pigment; Entire exterior of didgeridoo is stained with ochre pigment; Middle portion of shaft is decorated with three design fields of black turtles against backgrounds of horizontal lines in colors of red, black, and yellow; Varnished or rubbed with animal fat.
