| Description | Wooden bull-roarer-shaped carving; Flat, oblong shield painted on one side in traditional Australian aboriginal style of small dots in red, blue, and yellow; Top and bottom are decorated with parallel horizontal lines of yellow dots against a red background; Middle of board shows two horizontal ovals on either side of a ring of concentric circles, all painted in red outlined with yellow dots, against a background of red and blue dots; Reverse of piece is painted solid red and has a label affixed which reads “D.P.A. Hunting for Food Within the Artist Ceremonial Dreaming.” | |
