Knife sheath made from two pieces of hide sewn along both sides to fit contour of knife; Hide lace looped at mouth to form a handle; Lazy stitch beading at mouth in blue with bands of maroon; Upper portion quilled vertically in red with a central yellow square with four white squares at each corner; Lower portion quilled horizontally following contour of sheath; Quills are dyed red with white squares placed at equal intervals and a central blue line; Three hide laces, wrapped in red and blue dyed quills and tipped with tin cones and feathers are suspended from bottom edge of sheath. |
