Description | Handmade arrow with wooden shaft that has been steamed and scraped to perfectly straight shape and fitted on distal end with elongated, straight-edged steel point whose edges are bifacially ground thin; Tip is soldered to hollow tubular stem which fits over end of shaft; Proximal tip of shaft is carved with deep, square nock and final 21.5 cm of shaft are painted red and fitted with three sections of trimmed wild turkey feathers, whose ends are secured to the shaft with wrappings of possible sinew; Number "29" is printed just below painted portion of shaft. | |
