Slightly oval shaped basket with flat base and rounded sides, curving inward toward rim; coiled on single-rod foundation in spaced-stitch technique; Designs are in dyed (black) bracken fern roots and redbud and consist of 4 concentric (red and black) diamonds alternating with groups of 4 black triangles arranged in diamond shapes, all woven with supplementary wefts. |
