| Description | Fighting and hunting club with heavy, cylindrical shaft that expands to maximum diameter near distal end; Both distal and proximal ends taper to sharpened points; Wide band of shaft near distal end is carved in high relief with projecting rectangular blocks similar to texture of pineapple; proximal end of shaft is marked all over with shallow adze marks, providing gripping surface; Entire shaft is stained ochre and shaft above and below "pineapple" band also painted with several white bands. | |
