| Description | Round basket with flat base and deep flaring sides; Basket is woven in coiled technique with spaced stitches over 3-rod foundation of peeled willow shoots; Primary weft material is peeled and split willow shoots; Designs are woven in blackdevil's claw and consist of seven large triangles that are pendant from a black band on the second-to-last coil, forming a large negative floral motif whose petals extend up the sides of the basket. | |
