Description Model of dugout canoe, carved from single piece of wood; Hull is flat-bottomed and sides flare out, tapering at both ends; Squared off bow rises slightly above sides of canoe; Prow is especially elongated and rises to maximum height of canoe, ending in a hook-like projection; Model is completely undecorated, and is mounted on two wooden supports by means of metal screws; 3 holes in floor of hull are possibly result of previous display.
