Shallow oval wooden bowl with wide flat rim, carved in the form of an octopus with human-like head forming handle at one end and 2 octopus tentacles extending out from head and wrapping around rim of bowl, their ends dangling into the bowl interior; Eyes and teeth on head are inlaid with abalone shell; Six rectangular pieces of bone are inlaid around rim of bowl. |
