Description Effigy bowl in shape of swimming seal with its hollowed back forming the bowl; Eyes and nostrils are inlaid with abalone disks; Front and rear fins each inlaid with single ivory disk and 4 rows of white glass beads; Rim of bowl is inlaid with 7 ivory disks and 20 white glass beads; Extended tail inlaid with 3 rows of white glass beads; Seal’s open mouth is inset with 10 rectangular ivory disks of graduated sizes to represent teeth.
