Description Brass, oil burning menorah or chanukiah, a ceremonial lamp lit during Chanukah ceremonies, consisting of row of 8 small oil reservoirs (each with a wick spout) supported on four legs; Lamp can either stand or be hung; Openwork back plate is triangular in shape and includes small hole near top from which a 9th oil reservoir, the shamash ("helper" or "servant" - the light from which the others are lit) would be suspended.
