Description Four piece lamp, replica of a Musubi-todai used in all Shinto ceremonies; Three sticks of willow wood tied with hemp in a masculine knot (musabi) form a tripod that holds the 3-piece lamp, consisting of shallow bowl-shaped drip dish with interior ring, a shallow bowl-shaped reservoir with a triangular, pierced tap extending above the rim, and a small cone-shaped item with flared base; All ceramic pieces are coated with off-white glaze.
