| Description | Mold-pressed, pear shaped closed oil lamp whose reservoir's sides flare out to midlevel shoulder, then curve inward sharply to small oval opening in center of top; Small pinched handle is located at widest end of lamp and rises above height of reservoir; Small round hole at tapered end of reservoir serves as wick channel; Top surface of reservoir is decorated with shallow incised lines encircling and radiating out from central opening; Lamp is natural orange color of clay. | |
