Description | Mold-pressed oil lamp with a round, squat fuel reservoir with covered top with depressed central area, encircled by concentric incised lines; Center of depressed area is mounded with 0.9 cm perforation; Similar sized perforation is located just to the side of the central one, and a smaller 0.3 cm perforation is located just on the rim of the depressed area; Small rounded spout with flattened top and small hole for wick extends out from front side of reservoir; Perforated lug handle extends above rim of reservoir and is located on side opposite wick spout; Maker's name, "C. Atilus Vestalis" is stamped on base; Exterior of lamp is slipped brick red. | |
