Ship's lamp consisting of a short, round, cylindrical oil reservoir with a flat screw top that includes two short cylindrical whale oil burners on small circular disk and a 3rd cylindrical that is possibly for burning camphene or an air vent or a holder for the flame snuffer which is affixed by a chain; Heavy iron bale handle is attached to sides of reservoir and includes heavy extending armature for hanging lamp or impaling it on ship's timbers; Length of wick is inside reservoir. |
