Description Pewter "Student's lamp" with flat-bottomed, bell shaped reservoir; Screw top on reservoir holds two tall cylindrical wick holders; S-shaped handle is attached at upper and lower sides of reservoir; This lamp burned camphene fuel, a distillate of turpentine, a volatile fuel giving a clear white light.
