| Description | Pair of young child's moccasins / low mukluks with single-piece sealskin sole creased around toes and heel; Upper is made of large piece of dyed sealskin (hair removed) that covers the front and sides of foot, and a smaller piece that forms the heel, both sewn together along sides; Narrow band of deer (?) hide (hair left on and hair side out) is sewn around foot opening but not at vamp area; 4 small squares of bleached sealskin are appliquéd to vamp area. | |
