| Description | Rectangular manta or shoulder blanket comprised of two panels that are seamed together down the center; Each plainweave, warp-faced panel is woven longer than wide with the center area being plain red, flanked along each side by a decorative band, which is, itself, composed of 5 narrow bands, woven with supplementary warps to produce repeating geometric motifs; Each panel is finished with a plain blue band along the outermost edge; Panels are seamed together using a flat joining stitch in red. | |
