Description | Rectangular carrying cloth woven in two panels that are feather stitched together down the center of the finished cloth; Each panel consists of a wide black section woven in warp-faced plainweave technique, with a narrow decorative border along each side also woven in weft-faced plainweave with additional floating warps to produce a continuous geometric pattern in colors of rose, white, olive green, and gold; Narrow blue stripe is woven along outermost selvage edge on each panel; Series of small evenly spaced pleats extend horizontally across both panels. | |
