Description | Non-regional style rug woven in plain tapestry weave; Both warp and weft yarns are hand spun wool; Design consists of a large elongated diamond in center which extends nearly the entire length of the rug and is woven of carded tan wool, encloses a short vertical column of natural dark brown stacked diamonds, and whose outer serrated edges are outlined in aniline red; A similar half-diamond motif is located along each side, all on white background. | |
