Description Round shallow dinner-sized plate with flat base and very low, flaring sides; Interior and exterior are scraped very smooth and highly burnished; Design around interior rim is painted in matte black slip and consists of 8 contiguous elongated triangles (each with one concave side) with small V-shaped motif extending from short end; Each triangle also contains a negative leaf-shaped motif within it; Plate is reduction fired to black-on-black color; Signature "Marie" is incised in script on base.
