Description | Large olla or water jar with concave base, flaring sides, high shoulder, short inward sloping neck and wide mouth; Underbody and base and interior rim are slipped orange; Remaining exterior is slipped white; Design field on exterior is divided into 3 bands, which are subdivided into rectangular panels; Panels in narrowest band around shoulder each contain pair of black parallelograms arranged diagonally; Wider bands above shoulder and around lower body contain paired black feather motifs in each panel, with a single large orange zigzag line superimposed over the entire band; Jar is unsigned. | |
