Description | Round jar with concave, narrow diameter base, rounded sides that curve inward at rim, and very wide mouth; Interior and exterior are scraped smooth and slipped white, except for exterior lower body and base which are slipped orange; White-slipped exterior surface is divided into 3 bands of 10 rectangular panels each; Each panel is painted with a fine-line rectangular spiral, producing an optical illusion pattern of vertical columns of stacked diamonds; Jar is unsigned. | |
