Round salad or bread and butter sized plate with flat base and very low, flaring sides; Interior and exterior are scraped very smooth, coated with a slip and highly burnished; Design band painted in matte black slip around interior rim consists of contiguous outlined semicircles, each containing 3 large dots (possible variation of rain cloud design); Plate is reduction fired to black-on-black color; Plate is unsigned. |
