Description Round shallow bowl with flat base and flaring sides; Interior and exterior are scraped smooth; Exterior is covered with orange-red slip and interior is covered with white slip; Black painted designs on interior consist of single bird with outstretched wings and tail feathers and geometric design on its body; Pair of parallel lines encircle interior rim and third line encircles lip, all three of them including the ceremonial break in the design; Signature "Paul Trujillo" is printed in pencil on base. Paul Trujillo is the uncle of Helen Cordero, who started the tradition of storyteller dolls at Cochiti Pueblo.
